I have always found inspiration in the sea, the fields and the farms of the East End of Long Island. The beauty and mystery is glorious, although fleeting, and never ceases to thrill me. The sea is a place that I have always been drawn to, whether at the water’s edge or in my mind’s eye. For me the landscape of the East End is a perfect classroom for inquiry and experimentation. The studio is where I combine the experience of nature with my personal vision to create my art.
